Use a Horse Hair brush to finish off your waxing on race days.
Recreational skiers should use a horse hair brush after scraping as it will get some wax out of the structure (without taking out too much wax) leaving plenty wax left in the base for a full day, or days of skiing."
If you are racing
Dougie Crawford (World Cup Racer) says "I use a horse hair brush as the second brush on race days and for speed training. For race day I brush with brass until nothing is coming out of the ski, and then with horsehair until nothing comes out.
Remember it is the wax in the ski that counts"
The rectangular brush is ideal but if you are doing a lot of skis the oval one makes it easier.
